American bass guitarist and singer
Bootsy Collins is an American bass guitarist and singer. He played bass in James Brown's band, collaborated with George Clinton on Parliament-Funkadelic material, and formed Bootsy's Rubber Band. Collins released the albums Ahh… The Name Is Bootsy, Baby!, Stretchin' Out In Bootsy's Rubber Band, and The Power of the One. His most popular songs include I'd Rather Be With You, What's a Telephone Bill?, and Munchies for Your Love. Collins hosted The Bootsy Collins Show on Apple Music Hits and appears in the film Bootsy Collins: North Sea Jazz Festival - The Hague.
