Peggy King

American singer

Peggy King is an American singer. She was a member of the big bands of Charlie Spivak, Ray Anthony, and Ralph Flanagan. She was later discovered by Mitch Miller. King released albums including Girl Meets Boy (with Percy Faith & His Orchestra) with Jerry Vale, Lazy Afternoon, and Wish Upon a Star. She performed with the acclaimed Philadelphia Orchestra, appeared on Mel Tormé’s show, and appeared in the film Zero Hour!. Her popular songs include When You Wish Upon a Star, I Remember You, and You Took Advantage of Me.
