Jay DeMarcus is an American guitarist. He is a founding member of the multi-platinum-selling country-pop group Rascal Flatts, formed in 1999, with whom he released their debut self-titled album via Lyric Street Records. DeMarcus previously played with Christian group East to West  and with country star Chely Wright's band. He has released popular songs Music Man and A Strange Way to Save the World with Jason Crabb and has appeared in the films Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens and Saving Faith.
