Astrid Hadad is a Mexican actress and singer. She released the albums Astrid Hadad y Su Heavy Nopal en Vivo, Ay!, and Cabaret 2000 with Eugenia León and Liliana Felipe. Her most popular songs include Que Puntada, Bala Perdida, and El Calcetin. Hadad has used cabaret, carpa, and teatro de revista for humorous sociopolitical criticism, drawing from her background as a political science major. She has also engaged in ongoing explorations of non-traditional theatrical forms. Hadad appeared in the film Solo Con Tu Pareja.
