Kenneth Gilbert
Canadian musician (1931-2020)
Kenneth Gilbert was a Canadian musician. Gilbert won the Prix d'Europe, a major European organ prize, in 1953. He served as organist and music director at the Queen Mary Road United Church in Montreal for 15 years. He released the albums Bach, J.S. : Keyboard Works; The Well-Tempered Clavier; 2- & 3- Pt. Inventions; The Art Of Fugue; Chromatic Fantasy & Fugue, Bach: Complete Harpsichord Concertos with The English Concert conducted by Trevor Pinnock, and J. S. Bach: A Retrospective, Vol. 3 with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra conducted by Bernard Haitink.
