Johnny Tillotson is an American singer. He signed a three-year contract with Cadence Records in 1958 and placed numerous singles and LPs in the Billboard charts between 1958 and 1984. Tillotson released the albums Greatest Hits, It Keeps Right On a-Hurtin' and Johnny Tillotson's Best. His most popular songs include Poetry In Motion, Earth Angel and Why Do I Love You So. He entered a national talent contest sponsored by Pet Milk in 1957, which led to a trip to Nashville, TN. Tillotson also appears in the films The Fat Spy with Jayne Mansfield and Call of the Wild.
