Ronnie Carroll was a Northern Irish singer (1934-2015). He released the single Roses Are Red which peaked at number three in the charts. Carroll represented Great Britain in the Eurovision Song Contest two times. He released the single Say Wonderful Things which peaked at number six in the charts. His most popular songs include Ring-A-Ding Girl and Rainbowland. Following his chart success, Carroll appeared in the film Blind Corner. Carroll ran in the 1997 British general election for the Hampstead & Highgate seat.
