American musician

Jeannie Ortega is an American musician. She began busking as part of an adolescent song and dance duo called Sugar and Spice and attended the Brooklyn High School of the Performing Arts. Her songs appeared in the film Love Don't Cost a Thing and the series That's So Raven!. She released the albums Letting Go, Love Changed Me, and No Place Like Brooklyn. Ortega released the singles Crowded featuring Papoose and Live It Up; both songs are among her most popular. She has also appeared in the film Step Up.
