James Keane is an Irish musician. He co-founded the Castle Ceili Band with his brother Sean Keane and Mick O'Connor, winning the All-Ireland band championship with the band in 1965. Keane has released the albums Roll Away the Reel World, That's the Spirit, and Toss the Feathers. Among his recorded songs are Carmel Mahoney Mulhaire/The Maid In the Cherry Tree/The Kilfenora Reel (Reels) and The Stone In the Field/The Steeplechase/The Culfodda Reel (Reels), as well as Slan Le Maigh.
