Nathan East is an American jazz, R&B, and rock bassist. He released the albums Nathan East, Reverence, and played bass on Whitney Houston by Whitney Houston. East worked with Eric Clapton and appears in the documentaries Eric Clapton - Slowhand at 70: Live at the Royal Albert Hall and If You're Not in the Obit, Eat Breakfast. He also appears in the film The Lady In the Balcony: Lockdown Sessions with Clapton. East is a member of Fourplay, with whom he released Between the Sheets featuring Chaka Khan. His most popular songs include Daft Funk and 101 Eastbound.
