Dame Gwyneth Jones is a Welsh operatic soprano. She released the album Mendelssohn: Elijah featuring Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau and Janet Baker. The album includes popular songs such as Elijah, Op. 70, MWV A25, Pt. 1: No. 2, Duet with Choir. Jones has also performed Now Cherith's Brook Is Dried Up, Elijah, Op. 70, MWV A25, Pt. 1: No. 8, Recitative, Aria and Duet with Fischer-Dieskau and the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Rafael Fruehbeck De Burgos. She released R. Strauss: Elektra Op. 58 with Jeffrey Tate and the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, and Verdi - Otello with John Barbirolli and the Ambrosian Opera Chorus. She later appeared in the film Quartet with Maggie Smith and Michael Gambon in 2013.
