

Angelo Badalamenti
American composer (1937–2022)
Angelo Badalamenti was an American composer (1937-2022). He composed the iconic theme song and soundtracks for the cult hit television series Twin Peaks, including the albums Twin Peaks (Soundtrack From), Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me (Soundtrack from the Motion Picture), and The Straight Story. His most popular songs include Twin Peaks Theme, Laura Palmer’s Theme, and Audrey’s Dance. Badalamenti conducted a performance during the opening ceremony for the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Spain, and won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Performance for Twin Peaks Theme. He also had aa cameo in the film Mulholland Drive with Naomi Watts.
