Dick Haymes was an Argentine actor and singer. He replaced Frank Sinatra as the leading male singer in Harry James' band. Haymes recorded popular songs including What Are You Doing New Year's Eve? with The Les Paul Trio, The Way You Look Tonight, and The Devil Sat Down and Cried. He released the albums Moondreams and That's Love, with the latter featuring Jo Stafford. Haymes also released Dick Haymes with Harry James & Benny Goodman: The Complete Columbia Recordings. Haymes appeared in the films Du Barry Was a Lady, State Fair and One Touch of Venus.
