Tariq Trotter, aka Black Thought, is an American rapper. He is a founding member of The Roots with Questlove. He released the song You Got Me featuring Erykah Badu. Trotter has released a solo project, Streams of Thought, Vol. 3: Cane and Abel, in 2020. He collaborated with Danger Mouse on Cheat Codes and with El Michels Affair on Glorious Game. Trotter has appeared in films such as Brooklyn Babylon, On the Inside, and Get On Up.
