

Maria Doyle Kennedy
Maria Doyle Kennedy is an Irish singer. She formed the musical group The Black Velvet Band with her husband Kieran Kennedy and performed with bands including an early incarnation of the Irish rockers Hothouse Flowers. Kennedy has released several solo albums, including Sing, Fire On the Roof of Eden, and The Storms Are on the Ocean. The Wandering Boy and Lovesong are among her most popular songs. Kennedy has appeared in the films Jupiter Ascending and Wolfwalkers, as well as the series Orphan Black, Father Ted, and Downton Abbey.
