Gerard Way is an American singer. He is the lead singer of My Chemical Romance, known for albums like The Black Parade and Danger Days. Way has also embarked on a solo career, releasing the album Hesitant Alien. He embraced glam rock influences in his solo career and has released popular songs like Hazy Shade of Winter, his cover of the Simon & Garfunkel track, as well as Action Cat and Happy Together. Way is also credited with writing the comic series The Umbrella Academy, which was adapted into a television series in 2019.
