Jason Castro is a Christian singer-songwriter and American Idol contestant. He topped digital charts in 2008 with a ukulele-helmed version of a song and signed a major-label deal with Atlantic Records in April 2009. Castro released his debut album, Jason Castro, in 2010, followed by Who I Am and Only a Mountain, which includes one of his most popular songs of the same name. He also appears in the film The Perfect Summer.
