Merv Griffin was an American talk show host, singer, and game show producer (1925-2007). He created and produced the game shows Jeopardy!, which premiered in 1964, and Wheel of Fortune, which premiered in 1975. Griffin released albums including Appearing Nightly, My Favorite Songs, and The Essential Merv Griffin: The Columbia Years. He also appeared in films such as Hello Down There, Slapstick of Another Kind, and The Lonely Guy. Griffin's most popular songs include Bewitched and I've Got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts with Freddy Martin & His Orchestra.
