American singer and actor
Eddie Dean was an American Western singer and actor (1907-1999). He began his career as a radio singer and regularly appeared on Judy Canova's network radio show. By the early 1940s, he began releasing his own music, showcasing his powerful baritone with popular singles including I'll Trade My Horse and Saddle, I Can't Help Falling in Love with You, and One Has My Name (the Other Has My Heart). He landed on the charts again in the 1950s with I Dreamed of a Hill-Billy Heaven and Way Out Yonder. He also appeared in many westerns, including Song of Old Wyoming and Wildfire.
