Angélique Kidjo is a Beninese musician, actress, and activist. She released the albums Logozo, Black Ivory Soul, Mother Nature, and the collaborative project Queen of Sheba with Ibrahim Maalouf. She has received numerous Grammy Awards for her work. Kidjo has collaborated with Davido on Joy and with Yo-Yo Ma on Blewu. One of her most popular songs is We Are One. She has made significant contributions as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and has appeared in the film Mother of George.
