American singer
Dana Fuchs is an American singer. She established a career in New York's late-90s blues circuit, later playing the role of Janis Joplin in an off-Broadway musical. Fuchs released albums including Bliss Avenue, Borrowed Time, and Love Lives On. She collaborated with Evan Rachel Wood and Jim Sturgess on Because and Dear Prudence, and with Joe Anderson and T.V. Carpio on I Want You (She's So Heavy). Fuchs has appeared in the films Across the Universe alongside Salma Hayek and The Mortician.
