American musician
Mary Gauthier is an American musician and author. Her album Mercy Now includes the songs Mercy Now, I Drink, and Prayer Without Words. Gauthier also released Between Daylight and Dark, Dark Enough to See the Stars, and Rifles & Rosary Beads, which she co-wrote with military veterans and their families. She published the memoir Saved by a Song. Following the success of Drag Queens in Limousines, Gauthier performed at festivals around the country and eventually the world.
