Claude-Michel Schönberg is a French musical theatre composer. Schönberg composed the music for Les Misérables and released albums with Alain Boublil titled Les Misérables and Les Misérables: The Staged Concert. He also released Miss Saigon: The Definitive Live Recording with Alain Boublil and produced an opera album with the Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra and Julia Migenes-Johnson. Schönberg's songs include Mon histoire and Final: C'est pour demain, and J'avais rêvé d'une autre vie. The musical Miss Saigon opened in London in the fall of 1989, and Schönberg appeared in the documentary The Heat Is Back On: The Remaking of Miss Saigon.
