Joseph Calleja is a Maltese operatic tenor. He released Amore and Be My Love - A Tribute to Mario Lanza with Steven Mercurio and the BBC Concert Orchestra. He then released Verdi: Simon Boccanegra with the Vienna Symphony and Thomas Hampson. Calleja has also released popular songs including Charmaine (From 'What Price Glory') and Otello: Niun mi tema. He further released Otello: Oh! Mostruosa colpa! - Sì, per ciel marmoreo, giuro! with Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana and Ramón Tebar. Calleja won the 1998 Caruso Competition, signed with Decca in 2003, and has appeared in the films Avenging the Throne in 2014 and Macbeth in 2014.
