Clydie King was an American singer. She recorded as Brown Sugar in the 1970s, releasing the albums Direct Me and The Imperial and Minit Years. King also released the single Loneliness (Will Bring Us Together Again). Her most popular songs include Ready, Willing and Able with Jimmy Holiday, B Minor, and My Love Grows Deeper. King appeared in the 1976 film A Star Is Born alongside Kris Kristofferson and Barbra Streisand.
