Tom Waits is an American singer-songwriter and actor. He began his career in the early 1970s as a piano-based balladeer, releasing the albums Closing Time and Small Change. I Hope That I Don't Fall In Love with You, Ol' '55', and Hold On are among his most popular songs. Waits moved from Asylum Records to Island in the early 1980s and released Swordfishtrombones in 1983 and Rain Dogs in 1985. He later released Bone Machine in 1992. He has also appeared in films such as Bram Stoker's Dracula, The Outsiders, and The Absence of Eden.
