Xavier Cugat was a Spanish musician (1900-1990). He formed his own Latin American music band and would became the leader of the Waldorf-Astoria Orchestra in New York. Cugat released albums such as Cugat's Favorites and Pérez Prado y Xavier Cugat, Vol. 3 with Perez Prado. His most popular songs include Rhumba At the Waldorf, Chica, Chica, Boom, Chic, and Perfidia.
