Marshall Chapman is an American singer-songwriter, actress, and author. She released the albums Big Lonesome, Me, I'm Feelin' Free, and Songs I Can't Live Without. Her most popular songs include Rode Hard and Put up Wet, Somewhere South of Macon, and I Don't Want Nobody. Chapman was part of Jimmy Buffett's touring band and published a memoir in 2003. She appears in the film Country Strong alongside Gwyneth Paltrow, and the film Lovesong.
