

Michael Lloyd
American record producer, arranger, songwriter, and musician
Michael Lloyd is an American record producer, arranger, songwriter, and musician. He collaborated on Steven Spielberg's first short film Amblin' and worked with Mike Curb and Kim Fowley. In the 1970s, Lloyd produced the Osmonds, Shaun Cassidy, and Leif Garrett. He continued his success in the 1980s, working with Belinda Carlisle and Barry Manilow. Lloyd also produced the soundtrack for the 1987 film Dirty Dancing, including (I've Had) The Time of My Life, and supervised the film's overall music. Lloyd has earned more than 100 gold and platinum records throughout his career.
