Carl Wilson

American musician (1946–1998)

Carl Wilson was an American musician (1946-1998). He was a founding member of The Beach Boys, their lead guitarist, and youngest sibling of bandmates Brian Wilson and Dennis Wilson. Wilson took over as the band's on-stage director and general leader in 1965. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Beach Boys in 1998. In the early 1980s, Wilson released the solo albums Carl Wilson and Youngblood. His most popular songs include Heaven, What You Do to Me, and Hold Me.
