

Patterson Hood
American singer-songwriter
Patterson Hood is an American singer-songwriter and co-founder of the band Drive-By Truckers. He has pursued a solo career, releasing the albums Heat Lightning Rumbles in the Distance and Murdering Oscar (And Other Love Songs). Hood has also collaborated with Jason Isbell and Mike Cooley, performing together and releasing the album Live at the Shoals Theatre. Alongside Isbell and Cooley, he wrote and produced the song Goddamn Lonely Love. A couple of his most popular songs are Leaving Time and Come Back Little Star. He appears in the documentary Music Box 07: Jason Isbell: Running With Our Eyes Closed.
