Mike Moran

A musician, songwriter and record producer.

Mike Moran is a British musician. He joined the Ian Gillan Band and participated in sessions for Allan Clarke, which led to collaborations with Roger Cook and Roger Greenaway. Moran worked on John Kongos' self-titled album in 1971 and, in the mid-1970s, with Kevin Ayers, Roger Glover, Rick Springfield, Ray Thomas, and Albert Hammond. He released the album The Sound of Soul with Les Hurdle and Alan Parker and, alongside Alan Hawkshaw, worked on the albums Contemporary Contrasts and Things to Come. Moran also released songs with Freddie Mercury, Nick Ingman and Orchestra, and Les Hurdle. Among his popular songs are Siempre Desde Ese Día and Nella Fantasia. Moran also brushed up against the English folk-rock scene through sessions for Harvey Andrews and Dave Cartwright in the early 1970s.
