Dinah Washington was an American singer, songwriter, and pianist. She released the album What a Diff'rence a Day Makes! in 1959 and her other albums include Dinah 100 and For Those In Love. Her most popular songs include What a Diff'rence a Day Made and Ain't Nobody's Business But My Own. Washington was a fixture on the pop charts and was one of the few Black singers to cross over from the R&B world to the pop charts. She appeared in the documentaries Jazz on a Summer's Day and Rock 'n' Roll Revue. She also recorded the song This Bitter Earth.
