Mel Tillis was an American country music singer-songwriter. He became a successful performer in his own right in the '70s. Tillis signed with Columbia and released the albums All His Great Hits, Church Street Station Presents: Mel Tillis, and Your Body Is an Outlaw. Tillis' most popular songs include Memory Maker and Heart Over Mind. He also appeared in the film Uphill All the Way.
