Aloe Blacc is an American singer, songwriter, and rapper. His career spans recordings dating back to 1995 and made the revered independent label Stones Throw an unlikely and unintentional launching pad for sustained aboveground success. Blacc released the albums All Love Everything, Good Things, and the extended play Rock My Soul: Volume I. He has collaborated with Avicii on Wake Me Up, and has had popular songs such as I Need a Dollar and My Way. Blacc has also appeared in the film Get On Up and the documentary Zedd: True Colors.
