Damien Jurado is an American singer-songwriter. He began his career with self-released cassettes and self-produced albums. Jurado released albums including Maraqopa, Motorcycle Madness, and The Horizon Just Laughed. He also released the film Reggae Film Star in 2022. His most popular songs include Silver Joy, Sheets, and Beacon Hill. Jurado appears in the documentary Cassette: A Documentary Mixtape and the concert film Damien Jurado: Live At the Knitting Factory.
