Ed Ames was an American singer (1927-2023). Ames achieved chart success as a member of The Ames Brothers with multiple hits between 1948 and 1959. He also starred in the group’s eponymous television series.

As a solo artist, Ames released numerous albums including 1967's My Cup Runneth Over, featuring the hit title track. He also released Apologize and Who Will Answer (And Other Songs of Our Time). Ames had several hits in the charts between 1965 and 1970, including Time, Time (Tu As Beau Scurire) and When the Snow Is on the Roses. Ames passed away in 2023.
