

Carmine Appice
American drummer
Carmine Appice is an American drummer. He formed the proto-metal outfit Cactus, played with Rod Stewart in the 1970s, and later with Ozzy Osbourne and Pink Floyd in the '80s and '90s. Appice released collaborative albums Bazooka, The Balls Album, and Keep On Rocking! with Pat Travers. Among his most popular songs are Boom Boom (Out Go the Lights) and Superstitious, which he performed with Travers. Appice also formed the power trio Beck, Bogert & Appice with Tim Bogert and Jeff Beck.
