Jimmy Clanton is an American singer. He formed his first band, the Dixie Cats, in 1956, then joined forces with pianist Dick Holler in the Rockets. Clanton released the albums Just a Dream, Jimmy's Happy, and Jimmy's Blue. His most popular songs include Venus In Blue Jeans, Just a Dream, and Another Sleepless Night. He also appeared in the film Go, Johnny, Go!.
