

Doug Kershaw
American musician
Doug Kershaw is an American musician. He taught himself how to play the fiddle at the age of five and went on to learn how to play over 28 instruments in his lifetime. He formed the Continental Playboys with his brothers Peewee and Rusty in 1948 and released a series of singles and albums with his brother Rusty, including hit singles Diggy Liggy Lo and Louisiana Man. Kershaw later achieved solo success with albums including Mama Kershaw's Boy and Alive & Pickin'.
