Dweezil Zappa is an American rock guitarist and actor. Zappa made guest appearances on his father Frank Zappa's albums while still in his early teens. He formed the band Z in the 1990s with his brother Ahmet Zappa on vocals, and also released a string of solo albums including 1991's Confessions and 2000's Automatic. He leads the tribute band Zappa Plays Zappa, releasing albums including Return of the Son Of... and In the Moment.

Outside of music, Zappa maintains a side career as an actor and voice actor. He has appeared in films such as The Running Man alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger.
