He released his platinum debut album Venni Vetti Vecci and is known for his thug-love duets Always on Time with Ashanti and I'm Real (Murder Remix) with Jennifer Lopez. Ja Rule has several popular songs, including Mesmerize, Thug Lovin', and Between Me & You. He released the albums Rule 3:36, R.U.L.E., and The Last Temptation. Ja Rule branched out into reality television, film acting, and entrepreneurship, appearing in the films The Fast and the Furious and Scary Movie 3, and the series The Murder Inc Story.
