Annie Ross was a British-American actress, singer, and vocalist. She worked with Blossom Dearie and Bob Dorough in Paris during the mid-'50s and formed the celebrated vocalese group Lambert, Hendricks & Ross in 1957. Ross released the albums A Gasser! with Zoot Sims, King Pleasure Sings / Annie Ross Sings with King Pleasure, and Let Me Sing. She also released the popular songs I'm In The Mood For Love and Twisted. Ross appeared in the films Straight on till Morning, Superman III, and Blue Sky. She died in 2020.
