Toni Basil is an American singer, actress, choreographer, dancer, and director. She is known for her song Mickey, directed the groundbreaking Talking Heads music video for Once in a Lifetime in the late 1970s, and formed her own urban-style dance troupe the Lockers in the late 1970s. Basil released her debut album Word of Mouth in 1981 and appeared in films Easy Rider and Five Easy Pieces.
