Hadda Brooks was an American pianist, singer, and musician (1916-2002). She signed a recording deal with Modern Records in 1945. Brooks released albums including Anytime, Anyplace, Anywhere, Hand on Your Heart - Cozy Autumn Vibes with Hadda Brooks, and I've Got News for You. She briefly left Modern for London Records in 1950, the same year she appeared in the film In a Lonely Place alongside Humphrey Bogart. Brooks's most popular songs include You Won't Let Me Go and That's My Desire, which she performed with the Hadda Brooks Trio.
