Steve Earle is an American musician. He released his breakthrough album, Guitar Town, in 1986, followed by Exit 0 in 1987. Earle then released an album titled Copperhead Road in 1988, which includes one of his most popular songs. In 1999, Earle released The Mountain with the Del McCoury Band. He has also recorded albums paying homage to songwriters Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark, and Jerry Jeff Walker. Earle appears in the documentary Heartworn Highways, the film Dixieland with Riley Keough, and the film Leaves of Grass.
