American country singer and actress

Reba McEntire is an American country singer and actor whose appeal has spanned decades. She released her self-titled debut in 1977, followed by hit albums My Kind of Country in 1984 and Whoever's In New England in 1986, for which she received the Grammy Award for Best Female Country Vocal Performance. Her popularity grew with Rumor Has It in 1990, For My Broken Heart in 1991, and If You See Him in 1998, all solidifying her reputation as a country music star.


Sing It Now: Songs of Faith and Hope won the Grammy for Best Roots Gospel Album in 2018. Her most popular songs include Fancy, The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia, and Is There Life Out There. 
Beginning in 2001, she starred in her eponymous sitcom Reba for six seasons, and has appeared in the television series Malibu CountryBig Sky, Young Sheldon, and Happy's Place as well as the movie Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar. McEntire also hosted the self-improvement podcast Living & Learning with Reba McEntire and was a coach on The Voice.
