
Danica Patrick
Danica Patrick is a former American racecar driver. She has set records, including finishing second at the 2000 Formula Ford Festival in England - the highest-ever finish at that time by any American in the U.K. event. Patrick signed with Rahal-Letterman Racing in and later with Andretti Green Racing to continue racing INDY cars. She achieved the highest-placing finish for a woman in the unified IndyCar series standings at sixth place in 2008 and was the first woman to finish in the top three at the Indianapolis 500 that year. Patrick finished third at the Indianapolis 500 the following year. She appears in the documentary Danica and hosted the Society & Culture podcast Danica Patrick Pretty Intense Podcast.
