Alex Brightman is an American stage actor. He made his Broadway debut as an understudy in Glory Days and later appeared in the Broadway productions of Wicked as the munchkin Boq and School of Rock  as Dewey Finn. Brightman also performed in the Los Angeles production of The History Boys. Beyond the stage, he has appeared in the films First Time Caller and Here Today where he worked with Penn Badgley and Billy Crystal. Brightman studied musical theatre at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
