Ryan McCartan is an American actor, singer, songwriter, and musician. He appeared in the 2016 Fox television event The Rocky Horror Picture Show and its accompanying television series. McCartan also starred in the films R.L. Stine's Monsterville: Cabinet of Souls alongside Dove Cameron, Emma's Chance, and The Standoff. He has appeared in the series Freakish from 2016 to 2017, and formed the pop duo The Girl and the Dreamcatcher with Dove Cameron in 2015. McCartan has released the singles Pink and Green, Politician, and When You Went Away. He departed the University of Minnesota's Guthrie BFA program in 2012 to pursue professional acting in Los Angeles.
